What is the Darul Uloom Student Fund?
The Darul Uloom Student Fund was established to provide for the students and teachers. It is a branch organisation of Darul Uloom and was established purely with the intention of providing resources and elevating the level of education at Darul Uloom.
How will my donation be used?
The primary aim is to improve teaching and learning quality. Hence the money from your donation will only be spent on students, with particular emphasis on the following areas:
- Purchase of text books
- Purchase of teaching materials (i.e. computers, printers, overhead projectors etc.)
- Training courses for teachers to enhance the level of teaching
- Employing more teachers of a high standard/subsidising their salaries
- Improving the school library
- Extra-curricular educational activities (i.e. school trips, Homework Club etc.)
- Maintenance and refurbishment of the school premesis.
What will I get out of it?
Of course, any individual wishing to donate should do so with the intention of seeking reward from Allah (swt). In addition to this, Darul Uloom will provide you with the following:
- Free literature to your home on a regular basis
- Free copy of the prayer timetable every month to your home
- Information on any taking place at Darul Uloom
- Annual report of actvitities taking place at Darul Uloom
How will I know where my donation is being spent?
Members are invited to attend an annually held meeting. If for any reason you are not able to attend, a copy of the annual report will be mailed to you.
