Skills Show
As a part of preparing students for life after education, to help them develop their plans for their careers and to understand what it is they will need to do to achieve their objectives, Darul Uloom took a trip to the NEC Skills Show. The show exhibited a huge variety of careers and opportunities ranging from automotive technology to metalwork, from graphics design to CAD technology, and from horse riding to motorcycling. Seeing professionals in their own fields of work, students gained an idea of what it would be like to work in their preferred fields. They even had the opportunity to participate in competitions helping them to build and utilise their critical thinking abilities whilst having a lot of fun!
