Welcome message from Headteacher

Assalamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

All praise is due to Allah the Supremely Merciful, the Compassionate and may His peace and blessings be upon his blessed Prophet Muhammad whose life example we must all strive to follow.

Birmingham is now blessed with many Muslim schools that provide a great service to the community, however the Darul Uloom is unique in offering a truly Islamic Education that encompasses both the National Curriculum and the Traditional Islamic Curriculum both of which are delivered through a programme of teaching and support that develops the faith and character of the pupils.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, I have only been sent to perfect righteous character.” Ta’dib, the teaching of good character is therefore the centre of our holistic Islamic Education programme. We strive to ensure that our graduates are not only knowledgeable but also people of wisdom whose behaviour will inspire those around them.

It is my pleasure to lead a team of dedicated, highly qualified and committed teachers who all share the vision of the Darul Uloom. They work together to create a happy and supportive atmosphere that is conducive to learning. Many of our staff, hold higher degrees and could easily secure higher paid jobs in industry or mainstream education however their commitment to their faith and sense of responsibility to the community has drawn them to work in this institution where they are able to educate and mould the boys into men that will inshallah provide the leadership and inspiration our community needs.

I commend the Darul Uloom to you as the best place you can send your sons to provide them with the education they deserve whilst preserving their integrity and human dignity. We will look after your children as if they were our own and guide them to become young men you can be proud of that will bring honour and respect to your families.

May Allah (SWT) give us all the tawfiq to continuously strive for excellence and make the Darul Uloom a trusted source of guidance and a centre of educational excellence.  Ameen.
